It is good to talk to customers

Every once in a while I get to talk directly to customers over the phone. Many times it is just to answer some quick questions, or they may be interested in a specific feature and want to know if our DMS has it. Today I spoke with a user that had a few questions and during the process of helping him I was able to see his customized installation. I always find it interesting to login to an OpenDocMan installation and see different theme designs. What I mean by that is they had customized the theme by changing the color schemes, adding new buttons, and updating the header area to match their Internet website. I would love to see more of this from our users. In fact, 1.2.6 beta is now easier to theme and it includes a “plugin” feature to add drop-in customizations to the core code.
