I tried many other ope sources DMS, and at the end I decided OpenDocman was the right for me, easy to install, easy to use. I am a very light user, but I am very satisfied with my choice.
    Thank you!!!!

    Good Day

I am looking to acquire a solution that will allow me to scan customer documentation such as credit application forms, customer personal documents etc.
I am offering a retail credit solution and looking to electronically capture documents so that all information is available on a PC based infrastructure.
Please advice the recommended hardware and software required.

    Best regards

    I have some doubts.
I need a hosted DMS to hold our ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 quality management systems.
So I need sort of restriction access (configurable) for some docs (usually .pdf and .doc).
I also need to ensure permission for editing documents and also aproval permission for each document or group of documents; this is, certain user can edit the doc and another user aproves it finally and frees it to be used or accesed by the rest of the team. Or some type of read/write acces for every user in my team.
I need some changes tracing (version history and the author of last edition).
I also need that a document has some sort of mark so we can know their editing is in progress (this is, a beta document not approved yet).
Can we get this with OpenDocMan?. Thankyou.

I’m very interested in this but I’m a bit concerned about the backup and recovery requirements, as normally with a files and folders system replication is sufficient but here its nessecery to backup and restore both the file store and database in order to recover a system
